Vivo for Healthier Generations

As Vivo's retained Graphic Designer for more than two years, I served as an extension of the organization's marketing team, providing creative leadership across campaigns, publications, digital experiences, and environmental communications. My role combined design, strategy, and problem-solving to improve how members and guests interacted with the organization while maintaining a cohesive brand experience across every touchpoint.
Role: Retained Graphic Designer
Collaborators: Data Roots (Web Development); Harvey Nichol, Tiffany Lynn Cuffley (Mural Artists); Alanna Bryant (Copy)
Years: 2023-2026
Client: Vivo for Healthier Generations is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to building healthier generations through recreation, fitness, sport, and community connection.
20th Anniversary Brand
To celebrate Vivo's twentieth anniversary, I developed a commemorative visual identity inspired by the facility's Kapwa mural and its themes of belonging and connection. The identity extended across campaigns, signage, events, and branded experiences throughout the anniversary year, giving the milestone celebration a distinctive and memorable look.
Reports & Publications
I art-directed and designed multiple annual and grant reports, showcasing organizational milestones, financial information, and community impact as engaging publications that felt approachable, informative, and unmistakably Vivo.
Vivo.ca Website
I led the redesign and development of Vivo.ca in 2025, beginning with conversations across every department to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. I developed the site's structure, content strategy, visual design, initial copy, and page layouts/templates while directing the backend WordPress development by Data Roots. The new website has significantly improved access to program registration, schedules, membership options, reservations, and general facility information.
Preschool Campaign
I art-directed and designed an integrated campaign for Vivo's 2026-27 Preschool Program across print, digital, and environmental channels. The creative concept placed children within Vivo's unique spaces to highlight experiences that extend beyond a traditional preschool environment. Deliverables included brochures, mobile signs, and digital advertising that built awareness and supported registration.
Experiential Brand Installation
As part of Vivo's anniversary celebration, I concepted and sourced a custom three-dimensional logo installation designed for permanent display and use at community events. The interactive installation features a removable "i," inviting visitors to literally step into the logo and become part of the brand experience and community.

Brand Assets & Environmental Graphics
Throughout my contract, I developed a wide range of supporting materials, including annual reports, registration guides, advertising campaigns, signage, brochures, event materials, trade show materials, and other branded assets. Together, these projects helped maintain a consistent visual identity for Vivo’s marketing efforts while enhancing the experience of members and guests throughout the facility.
