Indigenous Adaptation Project
In 2022, the Public Health Agency of Canada granted CMHA funds for the Indigenous Adaptation Project. I was contracted by the CHMA-RM team to produce and package the materials related to the unique challenges faced by Indigenous first responders.
Indigenous emergency managers, educators, firefighters, and community leaders came together as a steering committee to guide and review the adaptation materials, ensuring it reflects and respects the distinct experiences and needs of Indigenous first responders.
